Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Dropshipping Product Scout, an independently operated developer service (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Version 1 is an anonymous, independently operated, read-only third-party research tool. It can search a small, manually reviewed, general-audience curated catalog by keyword or approved CJ product code, retrieve an approved product’s current approved variants and warehouse availability, and estimate shipping for one approved variant, quantity, and country route. Restricted and unknown products are not supported.
It does not sign in to or connect an upstream account; access customer accounts, orders, tracking, payments, or store data; make purchases; reserve inventory; book shipping; place, cancel, or refund orders; publish products; or guarantee an outcome.
2. Independent service and third-party data
The service relies on third-party product and logistics data, including data from CJ Dropshipping. Data may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or changed after retrieval. Product prices, sale status, stock, shipping methods, fees, and transit estimates are informational snapshots, not quotes, reservations, or guarantees.
Verify material information with the relevant supplier, platform, carrier, and professional adviser before purchasing, listing, promising delivery, or making legal, tax, customs, safety, financial, or business decisions.
CJ Dropshipping, OpenAI, carrier, and other third-party names, product images, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Dropshipping Product Scout is independently operated and is not presented as sponsored, endorsed, or operated by CJ Dropshipping or OpenAI.
3. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. The service is not directed to children under 13. A higher minimum age applies where required by local law.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the service for lawful product research and planning. You must not:
- violate law, sanctions, export controls, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or third-party terms;
- submit passwords, tokens, cookies, payment data, customer data, or unnecessary personal information;
- scrape, overload, disrupt, probe, or bypass rate limits or security controls;
- attempt to obtain server credentials, internal configuration, or another person’s information;
- misrepresent returned data as guaranteed, reserved, officially endorsed, or independently verified; or
- use the service to facilitate fraud, prohibited goods, deception, or other unlawful activity.
5. Intellectual property
We and our licensors retain rights in the service software, design, and original materials. Use of the service does not transfer ownership of third-party product data, images, trademarks, or links. You are responsible for obtaining rights needed to copy, advertise, publish, or sell a product.
6. Availability and changes
We may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue the service to protect security, comply with law, respond to upstream changes, or prevent abuse. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or continued support for a particular product, route, or feature.
7. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or that third-party data will be current or error-free. The service is not legal, tax, customs, safety, financial, or professional advice. Mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of or reliance on the service or third-party data. For any claim that cannot be excluded, aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the three months before the event. This provision does not limit liability where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict access when we reasonably believe use violates these Terms, creates legal or security risk, or abuses the service.
10. Disputes and applicable law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. They do not remove mandatory consumer protections or rights granted by the law of a user’s residence. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue. Courts or dispute-resolution bodies with lawful jurisdiction may hear unresolved disputes.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will post the revised effective date. Continued use means acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
